From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in strength within the urban setting.

The Soldiers Table Revealed
The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to begin their independent quest, separate from the additional parties.
This warrior group includes the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).
Dividing the Cast
Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.
This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.
Characteristics of the Soldiers Table
As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might seem out of place, but the actions of the third episode make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.
Casimir then settled his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Secondly, each member has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:
- The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
- Kattigan has experience in Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty location.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
- But, their status as prominent individuals in the powerful family could enable the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, Teor vowed a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Lastly, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally too risky:
- The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
- The strong figure and The healer defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
- The target is wanted dead by the family.
This results in them no alternative but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.
What’s Next?
According to episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the participants to form the Seekers and Planners parties.
